Eastern Market DC | Double Layer Peplum Top + Sweatshirt Pencil Skirt

Hello and happy Monday! Although I love that spring is here; it’s just always so tricky to dress for those in-between temps, especially now that April showers are upon us.

So I love wearing sweatshirt material items in a form of a top or this skirt below. A heavier material in a style will help you keep warm during those cool temps and cool when the sun comes out to play. This outfit’s also perfect to wear out meeting friends for brunch or going on a food tour like I did two weekends ago hosted by Mangia DC. We went to four different restaurants in the Georgetown area, which I never knew existed and so happy to discover them now through the tour. I love that the 3.5hr of tour included a nice history of Georgetown as well as the restaurants that decided to set up shop and stay put for so many years. I cannot wait to go back to those restaurants again. I cannot wait to go back to those restaurants again. I cannot wait to go back to those restaurants again to try other eats on the menu. If want to have something to do while discovering your local eats, feel free to check them out! You won’t be disappointed and will leave the tour with stomach fully satisfied.

Outfit: H&M tube scarf // flared top (old) // ASOS skirt // Ivanka Trump ankle boots (old/drooling over these) // Rebecca Minkoff bag (old/similar) // Chloe sunnies (old) // H&M hat (old) // photos shot by: Sung Shin

And that’s it! I don’t know about you today, but I spent most of my day tackling my taxes. Oh the fun of it all. Can’t wait to be done with it soon. As always, thanks for reading and see you in my next post!!
