Housewarming Sunday | Leopard Drop-Waist Dress + Rose-Collar Blouse

Happy Vote Tuesday everyone! Since I voted early last Tuesday and had my housewarming party Sunday, I can finally breathe again. It has been four long months renovating my new place and even finishing up last minute projects up to the 11th hour of preparing for the party. Side note: I will film the after and take some photos to hopefully update everyone on the progress over the last four months. Crazy how time flew and now I know where my summer went–ha.

Anyway, my outfit below for the party on a gorgeous autumn day. I went for simplistic black and white colors but in feminine details like the rose collar and the drop-waist detail. It was super comfy to move around in and I can definitely bring this dress into winter by switching out the top for black turtleneck and adding on some tights. This dress is a great transition piece!

Outfit: Hunter Bell dress (love this double ruffle version and this!) // Forever 21 top // Vince Camuto sandals // Warby Parker sunnies // photos shot by: Sung Shin

housewarming spread

Many thanks to the man in my life for making sandwiches and my roomie for making the crepe so we had a crepe bar at the party. We had a huge spread for my lovely guests including my first attempt at baking a five-layer black forest cake that was a hit. Now that the party is over, time to finish off the year in a more relaxing mode.

Thanks for reading everyone!
