As promised, here are the photos from Sunday night showing at NYFW. I was able to be KL’s guest for the night so we caught two shows back-to-back and some of the designers’ work definitely caught my eye. I have never heard of them until that night but so glad that I was able to catch the show.
Charles & Ron
I absolutely love the fun print, silhouette and full skirts of his pieces below. One of my favorites had to be the full gown dress in the last photo with the shiny metallic material and pockets that made the gown quite unique.

And talk about motorsport chic-ness in this lineup. If I ever own a bike, the leather dress one would be a definite favorite.
The unique take on these trench coats were an absolute joy to watch and I especially love the grey one below!
Anya Liesnik’s show lineup definitely caught my eye with me loving every single one of her pieces. They were sequin-heaven and almost 60’s vibes with the shift dresses and drop-waist.
backstage before next show
Then KL was invited to head backstage so I came along for the fun and shot some photos. I loved seeing behind-the-scenes of any events and the amount of people and talent that went into providing a good show at fashion week.
Danny Nguyen Couture
Then it was the next showing and learned that this designer was originally from Houston. Some of his pieces below were pretty intricate with the beading, lace and ruffles.
This set was another of my favorite with fun prints for spring/summer casual beach or cruise wear attire. I could definitely see myself rocking a lot of the pieces below.
Lastly, this designer went for the simple, classy silhouette with interesting criss-cross straps for the back–a very true reflection to the designer herself.
What a fun night it was hanging with KL and I can’t wait to do this all over again come winter fashion week! I hope you enjoyed my coverage over my short weekend up there. Please let me know which of these designers were your favorite. Until next time, thanks for reading!
