Hello everyone! I recently took myself on a date for a Sunday matinee at the Kennedy Center to see the musical, the Book of Mormon. The musical has been on my list for awhile to watch and it just so happened that I was able to find last minute tickets for a reasonable price and wore this outfit below to the show.
I wanted something that was light and airy for the summer heat but still kept me warm in the air-conditioned hall where the show played in. I was surprised at how well-constructed the top was and loved the bell-shaped sleeves which gave this look something different and fun. Adding in a pop of color such as these bright blue ankle-strapped sandals made the whole outfit complete and ready for the night out.
On a side note, I could be wrong but I’ve noticed that sites like Zara, H&M among other stores that I shop seemed to give their excess stocks of clothing items to online sites like SheInside or Romwe. It could possibly be that they had the clothing manufactured there and simply had overstock on items that they in turn would sell on these sites. This top’s tag, for example, was removed but later found that the top actually came from Zara. No complaints here since I was able to purchase the top for fraction of the price at Zara’s. However, keep in mind that there are only limited sizes available on these sites, so be prepare to alter if needed for the right fit.

I also had an opportunity to check out the new Kendra Scott store opening in Bethesda. I had a choice of customizing any piece at the Color Bar that I mentioned last time and I chose the classic piece of the Rayne necklace. Absolutely love the piece and it pairs so nicely with just about any outfit.
Have you heard of Kendra Scott jewelry and if so, please let me know what your favorite piece is down in the comment section. Until next time, thanks for reading!
