Instamix | Oct 2014 Monthly Roundup

Hello everyone and happy Monday! So the only scary movie I saw for month of October was “Gone Girl“. It was probably more thriller than scary, but I was beyond astounded and freaked out afterwards by the length that someone would go to for revenge. It was just that crazy. If you haven’t seen it, I will not spoil any details.

Anyways, let’s get started with last month’s instagram roundup from both my personal and blogging accounts.

So for October, I…

  • went to Philly early October and my brother decided to have a secret proposal for his long-time gf. I was asked last minute to grab a few behind-the-scene shots. Wish I had known earlier, then I would’ve totally brought my zoom lens for a closer shot. Ah well, happy news all around.
  • switched from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 as well as from Sprint to Verizon. So far the reception is way better and I’ve gotten used to the bigger size phone.
  • am totally in love with thigh high boots as evident here, here and here and you’ll see plenty more in near future, I’m sure.
  • made this yummy tortellini dish with butternut squash from Laura Vitale. It was divine.
  • am in love with my fall Quilted Love bag from Rebecca Minkoff in burgundy. Got it during the F&F sale from Saks and it’s now a staple for fall possibly going into winter. It kinda reminds me of Chanel’s boy bag for at a fraction of the price until I can get my hands on one. =D
  • was invited to be ambassador for a local boutique in Alexandria for #OTbloggercrawl. Check out the holiday guide book as well.
  • added additional dainty jewelry pieces to my collection thanks to She’s Unique and Mint Condition.
  • finally got to go to Shenandoah National Park and visit the Skyline Drive for pretty fall colors.
  • am playing with more textures coming up on blog soon. Plus this clutch is everything — wish it’d fit my iPhone 6 though. #firstworldproblems, am I right?

That was a fun October and I can’t believe there are only two more months before the year ends. I’m already hearing xmas songs playing and I don’t mind that one bit. =D

Thanks for reading and have a great one!
