How-to | 4 Easy Back-to-School or Work Hairstyles for Short Hair

Hello everyone! I have teamed up with Aussie to bring you four casual hairstyles that you can do for back-to-school or work for those who have short hair like me. Of course, if you have longer hairstyles, these would work just as well.

I’ve used Aussie hair products in the past and loved the products and the company, so when I was asked if I wanted to participate in this campaign, it was a no-brainer. I was sent three items from Aussie: the Aussome Volume Mousse, the Mega Hairspray and the 3-Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner. See my thoughts on these products after the jump.

Quick Review

  • Aussome Volume Mousse–I mean the name says it all. Love the scent on this mousse and it definitely provides a long-lasting hold to my curls without leaving them hard to the touch.
  • Mega Hairspray–same thing can be said for this hairspray. I love that I can run my fingers through my hair without feeling like I have a ton of hairspray in. Provides the hold that I need and leaves my hair soft while keeping the flyaways at bay.
  • 3-Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner–now this one I was most excited about. I love to deep condition my hair at least once a week or every other especially since I wash my hair everyday. For those of you who do active sports such as swimming or use heat products often, this conditioner will help restore your hair and give it the moisture it needs. Also if your gym has a steam room or if you do bikram, try applying this conditioner before heading in and wrap it with a towel. For bikram, I would use just a pea-size amount so that you don’t have conditioner sweat down your face. This has definitely replaced what I’ve used in the past.

I hope you enjoyed this post and many thanks to Popsugar and Aussie team for giving me the opportunity to try out these products!
