Feeling Tropical | Leafy Crop Top + Chiffon Palazzo Pants

Happy Wednesday! With temps in the 90’s lately with yesterday almost reaching 100 degrees kinda puts me in a tropical mood especially with this outfit below. Believe it or not, my sister took these shots back in April during the Cherry Blossoms festival weekend, but I wanted to wait until it was more summer weather appropriate to post. Also, it was the same day that I had filmed my “How to Get the Perfect Curl” back-to-basics video which meant that a photo shoot was definitely in order to not waste a good hair day. 🙂

Also, I am in love with these breezy palazzo pants that keep your legs cool and still provide some nice cover-up from the sun. I, unfortunately, misplaced my aviators shown here, so finally broke down and bought these Ray Ban foldable ones recently seen here. I can’t believe it took me this long to do so, because I absolutely love how compact and portable it is to carry in my small crossbody bag. I don’t carry sunnies with me on a regular basis because I hate having to bring the bulky case. Now I will be able to carry and wear the foldable pair anytime to protect my eyes from the sun. Awesome.

Outfit: Forever 21 bralette (similar version in white/love this lacy version here) // Forever 21 palazzo pants (pretty coral version here) // Saint Laurent Baby Sac De Jour (lovely blue color here / love this nude small version!) // Chloe sandals (old/similar/chunky version here) // Anne Klein watch (old) // David Yurman bucklet bracelet one and two

Anyways, I don’t know about you, but I am definitely counting down to the holiday weekend. I’m actually heading up to NJ Thursday night for an impromptu family gathering where my sister said that she will be having a seafood boil. Um…sold. Plus I miss my nephew and niece dearly! Unfortunately I can’t stay up there too long since I couldn’t reschedule my piano lessons for Saturday morning before my teacher goes to China for a little over a month. In meantime, she wanted to give me homework for the next several weeks to keep me busy, so driving back Friday night for that. Ah well, at least I get to spend a little family time than none.

Thanks for reading and have a great day everyone!
