Workwear Wednesday | Navy Blazer + Peachy Flutter Sleeve Dress

Hello hello! So I have a workwear outfit post for today. When I think of spring, I immediately think of soft pretty pastel-y colors and naturally peach is one of them. So when I saw this dress online, I was drawn to the simple lines of a shift dress and the added feminine touch of the flutter sleeves. Good thing there was a 60% flash sale Monday on Ann Taylor that I tweeted below, so hopefully you girls saw the tweet and got it for a great deal!

Although at the smallest size for petite, the dress was a bit roomy, but nothing too bad that I couldn’t work with it. Adding a blazer always adds a touch of professionalism to any outfit, and of course, this is the perfect dress to take it from office to happy hour in minutes by removing blazer and changing into strappy sandals. By the way, besides Ann Taylor pumps, I find Corso Como pumps just as comfy–must be the added cushion in there, but works for me! I wear a size 5 in them as well and they are pretty true to size.

Also is it just me or do you also carry a small purse with you along with a work bag? For me, it makes it easier during lunch time to just grab my crossbody bag versus taking the whole work bag with me. I don’t like carrying just my wallet since I feel as if I would need something else from my bag like sanitizer or lip balm, etc. I dunno–shrug.

Outfit: H&M blazer // Ann Taylor dress // Rebecca Minkoff bag // Corso Como pumps (another nude option/love this caramel color) // necklace c/o tj maxx // warby parker sunnies

Hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!

  1. I love this outfit! The peach pairs so well with the navy, and every time I see that bag I want it even more!
