Rosy | Black & White Mixed Prints + Neutrals

Hello all! When I saw this top at H&M, I really liked the bold stripes and the boxy shape of it. Since it was still a bit cold out when I was in Philly, I still wanted to style it but added a turtleneck for some warmth. I do have another outfit pairing in the pipeline for a more Spring look coming soon.

Also, I’ve been drawn to really feminine colors lately especially anything blush rosy pink, so this coat caught my eye. I’m glad to say that the sleeve length was just right even at an extra small and I couldn’t be happier. Just thinking about altering a coat of any magnitude gives me a slight headache. I wish the same could be said about these pants however. Ah well, can’t win them all, right? =)

As you know, I’ve been taking up painting with two classes so far. I guess I’ve always love to do anything artsy, but never had the time to do it. Recently, I did a search in my area and found some classes where they give you all the materials to paint for three hours. The first time I painted one, it was a lot harder in terms of blending and the instructor really didn’t teach. They were there if you had questions, so I kinda just winged it.

Yesterday was the same thing with this poppy painting by Georgia O’Keefe. The classes were fun, relaxing and was a way of de-stressing for me; however, the brown acrylic paint that exploded as I was adding some paint to my tray was not fun. I almost quit half way through–oy. Good thing I didn’t and finished although I had to get rid of two clothing items that made me a bit sad. Le sigh. Lesson learned.

Anyways, hope you all have a great Wednesday!
