Danielle-Nicole Spring 2014 Collection & CuspNM Georgetown Event

Happy Monday and thankfully a sunny and warmer day compared to the random snow/rain slush we had yesterday. Craziness.

Despite the weird weather, I was able to make it down to Cusp NM in Georgetown to attend Danielle-Nicole’s 2014 Spring event she was having for her newest collection. The event was filled cupcakes, cake pops and we could even get our bags personally monogrammed while we browsed through the collections–pretty awesome.

There were so many cute pieces that I chose a few of my favorites below. I am loving the beige/nude colors for Spring as well as the brights and as always, that Alexa tote is still one of my fave and now in more colors like the beige/nude that I am loving, which is currently sold out (another option and this cognac color is simple gorgeous). Also, I’ve been on such a crossbody kick lately and Danielle absolutely read my mind when she gifted me with the Amelia crossbody–love. I love that her bags not only look great, but are so affordable that you don’t need to sacrifice your wallet to carry the latest style.

Also, it always surprises me who we know and are connected in some way, shape or form, because I found out a few months ago that Danielle knows a mutual friend of ours, Devon, who you may have remembered as the wonderful chef who made us a 12-course dinner during NYFW two years ago. Did I mention that we all just met that weekend? Shows you how much of a warm, generous and ah-mazing guy he is, who welcomed us into his home for such a wonderful treat.

I hope you enjoyed this and thanks for reading! Thanks again, Danielle, for such an awesome event and can’t wait to see what you have in store for your next collection!
