Chicago Winter Blues | Marled Full Length Coat & Sweater Tunic

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I can’t believe next week is Christmas already! I just came back from Chicago late late Monday night as usual. My flight got delayed for an hour and half–seems to be story of my life at Chicago Midway–oy.

Anyways, while I was there, I was able to sneak in an outfit shoot with hubs. Going to Chicago was always fun with its endless charm, shops and restaurants, but nevertheless still fruh–reezzinggg…

This time, I made sure to bring lots of sweaters and layers to ward off the cold. Leather gloves–check. Thick, cozy, turtleneck sweater–check. Long coat to cover me from head to toe–double check. I’ve worn this coat in the past and this time, I definitely saw it coming in handy to block off any cold wind chills, which it did very nicely. So I highly recommend a good great winter coat if you want to survive the Chicago winter here.

Outfit: United Colors of Benetton coat (old) // H&M sweater tunic (old, similar and with pockets!) // Forever 21 tights // Steve Madden OTK boots // Kate Spade Grove Court Maise bag // H&M leather gloves (old)

Hubs will be home today for about a month before he starts his new job. Until then, I am soaking in whatever time I have left with him till we have to do long distance again–le sigh. Anyways, since I didn’t get a chance to update from the weekend, feel free to head over to my instagram for the latest photo fun. Oh, side note, watched Frozen over the weekend and guess who came on screen before the movie started–the camel from Geico commercial–cracked me up!

Enjoy and have a great hump day everyone! ! =D
