Royal | Neoprene Print Dress

Ever since I saw Linda wearing a Clover Canyon dress during my birthday dinner in July, I absolutely fell in love with the print. I have never heard of Clover Canyon, an LA-based clothing brand, until she brought it up that time, and again about a month ago, and couldn’t stop raving about the brand. So, of course, I had to see for myself what the fuss was all about, especially when she mentioned that the fit was just perfect for petite size frames.

Most of Clover Canyon’s apparels are made from neoprene, a material often times found in scuba wear to keep you warm under water, which makes it the perfect material to wear for colder temps. Not to mention that the material itself has a high heat-resistant boiling point of 500 degrees F (woah), so I know what I’ll be wearing in case of a fire and there happens to be cute firefighter–lol. I kid, of course. 😉

Anyways, I wanted to find a dress that had longer sleeves now that the weather is colder and fell upon this dress here. I got two sizes, which came in the week before Halloween, and kept the XS as it fit my overall frame well with still a little give to the dress. I’m happy to say that I didn’t have to take this to a tailor for any alterations to fit my frame, which saves me some money in the end. =)

Now I’m obsessed with possibly getting another dress, but with shorter sleeves like this print here or a more flared dress here.

Outfit: Banana Republic trench (love this leopard sleeve trench here) // Clover Canyon neoprene dress (been eyeing this pretty print here too) // Chanel bag // Elizabeth and James blink pumps (old) // Baublebar with Atlantic Pacific necklace // YSL arty love ring (love this silver one here) // Michael Kors Lexington watch // Stella Dot Christina link bracelet // BCBG stud bracelet // Chloe sunnies

Recently, Baublebar teamed up with one of my favorite fashion blogger, Blair from Atlantic Pacific, in creating a jewelry line and I absolutely love this mix of chunky pearls and chains in this necklace. I also got these rings here and here as well, but still waiting on them to get off of back-order. I can’t wait to see how they fit.

In the past, I’ve tried ordering jewelries from Baublebar, but didn’t quite find the right one that suited me. They were either too chunky or just didn’t fit right, so I was finally happy to find a few that I could add to my jewelry collection.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great day!
