4 Easy Ways to Save Your Skin Now


So you may be thinking that you’re still young enough to not worry about your skin. However, it is better to protect your skin now before any signs of aging occurs. Because when you signs of fine lines on your skin, the effects are irreversible.

Here are four ways below that you can start saving your skin now and protect it from future premature wrinkles and they are:

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!
I can’t say this enough, but using sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days, will save your skin tremendously and protect it from harmful UV rays that could lead to premature wrinkles.

I’ve been using Aveeno’s daily moisturizer with SPF to protect my skin every day. It provides SPF to ward off the UV rays and yet light for a nice moisturizer on these hot summer days. My skin does not feel greasy using it, so that’s always a big plus in my book.

Whenever I look for a moisturizer, I try to get one with at least SPF 30, which is also available with Aveeno. Also, don’t forget the neck, hands and feet, since those are the ones that instantly show the signs of aging, so protect them babies.

Remove your makeup
No matter how tired you are, always take that extra step to removing your makeup every night. Your skin goes through restoration as you sleep, so imagine all that gunk laying on your skin without any reprieve. Get your 7-8 hours of Zz’s every night consistently. This is one that I tend to break when I have lots of backed up photo work, however I try when I can to get my beauty sleep. As mentioned before, your skin goes through restoration every night, so sleep is vital. Stress hormones drop to normal levels at night, so having adequate sleep will give cells time to repair and rejuvenate for the next day. Not to mention having lovely undereye bags from lack of sleep are never a good look to sport each day. The more sleep you get, the less concealer you’ll need for those bags. The less concealer you need means less products your skin will need to look rejuvenated.

De-stress

Ever heard of acne rising to the surfaces when you stress over an exam or a big meeting? Stress raises the levels of the hormone cortisol, which increases oil production and can lead to bouts of acne according to research. So when stressed, try doing activities to help alleviate that such as a nice warm bubble bath or yoga perhaps.
