Spring Brights: Layered Collar & Cigarette Pants

Hello hello! For some reason, I like pairing bright fuschia with something green much like this outfit here. To me, nothing says Spring like bright colors and of course, I was drawn to the items below for the colors, but also love the unique layered collar on this top.

I, also, couldn’t resist the prints on these pants! However, if I have some time, I’d definitely want to try slimming down the legs a bit and hem them up for a better fit. Since these are supposed to be cigarette pants, which is just another fancy name for skinny pants, they should have a snug fit. If and when I do, I’ll definitely be sure to do another pairing to show the difference.

Also as of last night, I may have become a pescatarian. My sister told me about a month ago that she had turned vegetarian after watching the documentary “Vegucated“. I watched it last night and now I may be going that route too, but baby steps.

For the last few years of high school and into college, I didn’t eat red meat for awhile. However, this time, I may just cut out red meat AND chicken. If anything, being a vegetarian has many health benefits, so it’s not too far from where I want to go health-wise. If any of you have turned vegetarians or even a pescatarian, I’d love to know how you did during the transition!

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great Tuesday, everyone!

  1. I love how you paired this! Perhaps it’s because fuscia and green is very flower like?
Gosh, why don’t I ever spot such cute tops at F21..! :X

    • lol – thank you! it’s usually hit or miss when I’m in the store, which is why I do a lot of my shopping online with them. =P
