Product Review: DiorSkin Nude BB Cream

I am a huge fan of Dior skin products especially the DiorSnow Sunscreen, so when this BB cream came out earlier this year in four shades, I definitely wanted to give it a try.

IMG_9034_diorskin_nude_bb_cream_logoThe functionality of a BB (blemish balm) cream is to have serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock all in one. I’ve tried other BB creams in the past such as the Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB cream, L’egere Double White O2 BB cream, Missha BB cream, and L’egere White Multi bb cream.

DiorSkin Nude BB Cream
Cost: $44

I am using shade Fair and it seems more like a tinted moisturizer than a typical thick BB cream. The plus is that this BB cream does come in multiple shades whereas the ones I’ve used in the past typically had only one. The product is pretty runny and needs to be applied quickly before it dries making it harder to blend nicely. The coverage is sheer and if you have any dry patches on face, this BB cream will accentuate those areas.

Since my skin is fairly clear, I love using a tinted moisturizer to even out my skin tone. However, if you are looking for more coverage, I wouldn’t recommend this product. I didn’t like the finish on me and felt it was splotchy as the day went on and the oil around my T-zone area started settling in.

As far as BB creams go, this product did not fit my definition of a BB cream. I didn’t see any improvement nor moisturizing benefit to my skin. Overall, I would say it’s an OK product — nothing spectacular that I would repurchase.

Anyways, have you girls tried it and what did you think of it?

I’d love to hear about it! I hope you all have a great day today. =)

  1. This Dior BB cream seems quite promising.

    • I wouldn’t recommend it though. doesn’t leave skin feeling nice after application – very drying.

      • But it does looks good on you in photos, so i thought its quite promising. Few BB creams make my skin super oily .

My favorite BB cream is Dr. Brandt Skincare. I didn’t see that one on your list of ones you’ve tried. Sometimes it gets runny but if you shake it up before applying, it thickens up. Provides lots of coverage. Oh and it’s $39, pretty affordable, lasts a long time.

  3. Even though you didn’t like it, it does look nice on you in the photos!
    Did you use flash?

  4. I actually thought that it was too oily after a few hours. My T zone was very slick and I do not like that. I tried setting with powder and still oily. My FAVORITE is Dr. Brandt’s flexitone bb cream. It lasts all day and no shine at all.

    • interesting! i find it drying on my skin – oy. either that or my skin has gotten way too dry during the winter time.
