Ombre Nail Tutorial: Gold, Burgundy & Pewter

Hey everyone!  So I had filmed this video several weeks back and just got around to editing it – apologies!  Anyways, I have seen several ombre nail tutorials that use the same sponge wedge method, which I tried out on the first take.  It didn’t work so hot for me, especially with my nail beds being small.  I find it a little challenging to see where the colors are being distributed and quite messy.  So, for several days after, I was thinking and mulling over what could be done and something struck to me – what if I could use those disposable eyeshadow sponge tips!  Yep, the ones that I always throw away and find them useless have now serve another purpose  – perfect. So, I practiced out the method on several acrylic nails I had laying around and voila, it worked to my satisfaction. So this video was take two. =D

This method gives me more control, less messy and perfect for reusing those sponge tips you have lying around.  Feel free to watch the video and see how I apply this method.  Enjoy!
