Bonjour tous le monde! Lately, I’ve been brushing up on my French after taking 8 years of it during high school and college. However, I am not fluent by any means. I blame this for not taking that a semester aboard to just be submerged in the culture and really learn the language. Alors, c’est la vie, oui?
Nevertheless, I am still determined to be fluent by going to French meetups in the area or listening to podcasts. I’ve even set my iPhone language to French. As for my favorite podcast in learning a language, that would be Coffee Break versions from the Radio Lingua Network on podcast, which are also available in 21 languages. The instructor and student in Coffee Break French are from Scotland, but their accent reminds me a little of my dear friend, Bubz. The instructor makes it so easy and fun to listen while learning the language – perfect my many road trips up along the East Coast. =)
Although I have plenty of hats at home, I always forget to incorporate them into outfits. However, it never came to mind to add berets to the mix – maybe because I have no idea of how to wear them. Which is probably why it took me so long (oh, two months) to put something together – apologies! Well, when I saw this sweater on F21, everything else fell into place. =)
On a side note, I found this pin on pinterest saying “La vie est faite de petits bonheurs” – Life is made of the little moments”, which I wholeheartedly agree. A great saying to always remember and smile, n’est-ce pas? =)
