If you don’t know about my love for Lioele’s Carry Me mascara, you should read it here. Unfortunately, the item has been discontinued for some time and I just ran out of my last backup -oy. So I was back on the market to try out new products, but nothing so far had come close to it.
Recently, Pretty & Cute had a sale during Black Friday and I decided to pick up another of Lioele’s mascara below to try out with the hope that it might have the same formula as the Carry Me mascara. So glad that I did, because sure enough, it was, which shouldn’t have come as a big surprise.
I typically take a week or two of trying out a product before doing a review, but because this was just as good as the Carry Me mascara by the same brand, I wanted to share right away.
Lioele Blooming Volume & Curling Mascara – $19.20 at Pretty and Cute– use code “labellemel” to get 5% off purchase
Some features of what I typically look for in a really good mascara, especially for Asian lashes are as follow:
- it should not be clumpy after second coat
- it defines lashes nicely
- it does not run or smudge
- it keeps lashes nice and curled (a huge one for Asian lashes)
- it is easy to wash off (another big plus especially when it comes to Asian mascara products)
This mascara covered all the above and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Good thing I bought two. Shiseido Majolica Marjoca also did the same, however, this mascara needed another product to be able to wash off easily, so that has become a huge con for me.
Lioele mascara coats each lashes by fiber-like extensions, so don’t be alarmed when you see some of the products wash off from lashes. I don’t think this mascara volumizes like it said it would though. All in all, I have found my fave mascara and I really hope that Lioele does not discontinue this mascara anytime soon.
Also, there will be another product that I will reviewing soon on lash serums. Since my last one got discontinued, I have been trying something new to keep my lashes growing long that I can’t wait to share, so stay tuned! =)
In meantime, a question for you girls, have you tried other Lioele’s mascara product and what were your thoughts on them? I’d love to hear!
