Instamix: NYC Fashion Week

Hello all! I am finally back in MD and felt like I spent two weeks in NYC with how much that had been going on the past few days. There will be a separate post on that but in meantime, here are tidbits below through instagram. Warning – more photos than the normal updates ahead.

What I wore to IFBCON Day 2 – full outfit post here if you missed it. Even Lindsey Calla from Saucy Glossie approved. =)

After the conference, few DC bloggers and I headed to Le Pain Quotidienne to unwind and I got their mochaccino. I love scooping up the foam off the latte with a spoon, which got plenty of funny stares amongst the bloggers – lol. Who else does that? no, just me?

Then right after, I dropped off some girls nearby in the Meatpacking district before I went to quickly change into my outfit for dinner hosted by Glam Media and AMEX. The dinner was held at Beaumarchais and everything from the food and table setting was just amazing! I had a great time and met some awesome girls that night. More on that later.

Of course, I had to squeeze some pork buns from Ippudo. I honestly have not found another ramen place that serves those pork buns – simply delish. Wish there was one near me!

Met the most ah-mazing person during #FNO who wanted to make dinner for select few of us the next night. He made a 12-course dinner in a span of two hours or so and the food was TDF!! More on that later, I promise!!

After two nights of staying out till past 4am, I slept in on Saturday until 2pm. Then my sister’s roomie made some yummy korean dinner and I ate it all up – so good!

At the ASOSrStyle party trying on some rad sunnies

Folks gathered around the stage for a styling event amongst the top bloggers and guess who was standing next to me. I had to say hello. Jane from SeaofShoes was the sweetest person ever and so glad that I bumped into her.

Then afterwards, a few of us stopped by Popburger for some yummy late night eats.

Next and last day in NYC, it was brunch time at Bouchon bakery and I ordered the Croque Madame – so yum! We stopped by the macarons counter and bought some for dessert and I must say, the macarons were just as good as Ladurée.

And finally last event, the Stella & Dot styling center. The girls there were simply amazing and I had a blast!

Over the past few days in NYC was nothing short of spectacular. I made few plans before the trip and kinda let the rest of the days open with no agenda. I met up with old friends and new friends during this trip and I cannot express enough gratitude for making this trip so memorable.

There will definitely be a follow-up post to this update, but I have a feeling that I might need to split them up to several posts, since there will be a lot to cover. I hope you all enjoyed this update for now, but please stay tune for more! =)
