Nieman Marcus’ Media Maven & Mimosa’s Fall 2012 Event

I had the honor to attend Neiman Marcus’s Media Mavens & Mimosa event where we got to see the Fall 2012 preview in categories of fashion, beauty and home goods. In fashion this Fall, you’ll see more of items in mixed greens, blazers in menswear style, moto jackets, leather leggings/pants, digital prints even on fur items and navy paired with black is the new neutral.

I’m a bit excited seeing greens and navys in the mix and can’t wait to see what I can do with those pairings come Fall. Of course, who can forget shoes and bags and there were plenty of them passing around.

Next up, beauty items. Lots of new fragrances come Fall as well as a nice glossy red lips to welcome it.

This item, Nu Face, was pretty interesting. It pretty much lifts up your face with several passing – it’s like botox without the needle. =D

La Mer came out with a softening lotion in between its lighter version and creamier moisturizer. Perfect for those who need something in the middle. Also for those who love the YSL Touche Eclat concealer, you’ll love the newest foundation coming out for the line.

Most of you may know about Sedu Revolutions hair tools, but have you ever seen the professional grade line called Icon, which is worth about $700. Now that’s what I call pro.

A Dozen Roses coming out in dozen illustrations with unique scents for each.

Guess who won the Sedu Revolution hair dryer? None other than Liz from So Much to Smile About. =)

Now for some home good items. These placemats were placed for each of us at the table and I thought they were so cool-looking. Didn’t realize those were part of the newest items for Fall as well as decorative jeweled napkin holders.

Of course, jewelry was the last one and I was seriously drooling after every piece. Especially the newest line called Labyrinth collection from David Yurman. Each piece was collaborated together with the help of the designer himself alongside his wife and son. We also got to see pieces from Alexis Bittar, Rachel Zoe, John Hardy and Ippolita.

And here’s a video to show some of the things in person and few things that I got after the event.

Hope you all enjoyed this! I had such a great time at this event and even met a few bloggers in the area such as Meg from Mimi and Meg and Naina from Style N Naina as well as catching up with Ally from Chain Strap Purse.

I must admit that I am sad Summmer has been flying by so quickly, but I am quite excited for Fall right around the corner. Anyways, thanks so much for reading, everyone!
