How-to: Two Ways to Create a Ballerina Bun Tutorial

Happy Friday everyone!! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a hair tutorial so here’s one that is super simple for those who want to create a ballerina bun. I’ve been watching this new show call “Breaking Point” and have always had a fascination for ballet dancers. I give them major props to be on those pointed ballet shoes practicing non-stop to put on a good show.

So I wanted to show you two ways in creating a ballerina bun; they are pretty simple to do and such a classy way to dress up your hair for an everyday normal look.

Side note:

Some of you may know that I recently bought a Canon T4i to film youtube tutorials since I don’t feel comfortable using my Canon Mark III camera to film. I like to reserve the pro-cam for my photog biz.

This is the 2nd time that I’ve used the T4i to film; the first time, I had some autofocusing issue where the camera kept searching for focus on facial recognition. I decided to turn that option off and learned how to focus with the camera using a remote for this video instead.

For such a small body, this camera definitely packs a wallop delivering great photo images and video and very convenient for travelling, so I am quite please with it. Currently using the 40mm EF f/2.8 STM pancake lens to film – the silent motor is quieter than the cheapy fifty, but the camera can still pick up the motor if you really listen to the video. =P I figure since it is an EF lens that I can also use it interchangeably with the mark III. I’ll stop right here though since I can talk forever on photog stuff – lol. However, I hope this helps for those who are looking into a new camera for tutorials.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Let me know if there are other looks that you like me to recreate. Thanks for reading! =)
