Instamix: Michele Watches, Politico Wedding & Crab Legs

Hey everyone! Every weekend I always wish for more days to just chill, but as you can figure out, this was another busy one.

Recently I got my $500 NM gift card from my purchase few months ago and was super excited to put it to good use. I have had the Michele deco watch on my wish list for awhile ever since Michele1218 talked about it in her watch collection video. As soon as I saw the style, I was in love and why wouldn’t I be. Diamonds around the face – check, calendar date – check and classic elegance – check.

However, I couldn’t decide on which color – the two-tone to mix and match metals or the simple classic silver metal, so had to stop by to try them on. Also helped to chat with Michele as well and got her opinions, so placed my order Friday night. Unfortunately, the watch won’t be coming in until end of June – le sigh.

Met up with my friend Linda and another style blogger in the area, AllyCog, for some yummy eats at Seasons 52 in Tysons. It was Ally’s first time there and we got the usual flatbreads, our individual entrees and finished off the night with their trademark desserts. Yum & yum.

Then the next day, helped second shoot for a beautiful politico wedding. The bride used to work for 2nd Bush’s wife and the groom plans to run for office some time in near future. The reception venue was at the gorgeous Mayflower hotel and the ceremony was held at St. John’s church which I found out later, a go-to church for most of the presidents including Obama.

Everything from the wedding was just gorgeous from the venue to the cake. I hope to update this wedding on photoblog within few weeks if you like to check them out.

Sunday, I just relaxed the whole day and finished watching season 1 of Suits for the second time. I LOVE that show and wouldn’t have watched it if it weren’t for hubby’s adamant suggestion. Season 2 is coming soon on June 14th on USA and I can’t wait for it! Later in the night, we had a hankering for some crag legs, so decided to get 4 lbs of it at a nearby place – mm mmm.

That’s it for weekend updates. I hope everyone had a great one as well! Now back to the daily grind. =P
