Chicago Portraits: ahanhbarbie

As you know, I was in Chicago this past weekend to hang out with hubby. We decided to extend his stay until Sunday so we have some time to explore the city. Hubby decided to skip his Friday night class and have class all day Saturday until 7pm which meant that I had a lot of time on my hands. So I decided to reach out to my dear friend, Hanh, to see if she like to get together and shoot for fun. The weather the morning of was definitely not what we had in mind compared to the gorgeous Friday weather, however, we made do in between the rain and got some quick shots below.

First, we started off at a beautiful garden cove nearby before heading towards the lake. I especially just love the wind factor that day even though it was pretty darn cold. Major props to Hanh for braving the cold but then again, she is a Chicago gal. =)

After the shoot, Hanh took me to Molly’s cupcakes where we both shared an eclair shaped like a cupcake. This place is no joke so if you are ever in the area, make sure you stop by to have some cupcakes or eclairs. I haven’t had a chance to try out the red velvet but it will be on my list the next time I return! For more photos of my photo work, be sure to head over to my photoblog.

Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading!
