Upper East Side: Macaron & Tweed No. 5 Jacket

As you know, the first thing I did when I hit the city was taking the subway straight to Ladurée located on the Upper East Side. All the times that I’ve been to NYC, I never had a reason to go to the Upper East Side until now and also had no idea that one street can hold so many wonderful stores.

I wanted something comfy to wear around the city, so decided to try out my new tweed jacket No. 5 from MyUniqueen and definitely like this slimmer version a lot better compared to my winter one. From my convo with Jean at Extrapetite, she brought it to my attention that the No.5 fit on this jacket was definitely much more petite-friendly. The shoulders fit me well and the jacket is definitely slimmer all around. Only slight complaint I have are for the sleeves which are about two inches longer; I ended up tucking them under for the time being. You can find seven colors on the site, which I was having a hard time choosing between the cream, yellow or brown. Eventually, I decided on the brown since there were more contrasting colors that give the jacket its unique look.

Outfit:

Uniqueen’s No.5 Tweed Jacket
H&M loose shirt
F21 moto jeggings (old)
Tory Burch patent Reva flats (old) (similar)
Chanel bag
Chloe Sunnies (lost – sniff, sniff)
Jewelmint necklaces & bow bracelet
Michael Kors buckle ring & bracelet
Amrita Singh bangle

Have a great Wednesday everyone and thanks for reading!

  2. @BronsonBloopers thank you! =)

  3. That jacket looks great on you! The brown is a great choice. Hope you enjoyed the macaroon experience. I had my first macaroon experience when my husband and I traveled to Paris this past November. They were heavenly tasty :).

  4. @Laces and Shades thanks! i am absolutely in love with Laduree and even want to go to Paris to seek out a location there – mmm. definitely want to try to make macarons as well.

  5. Question about the jacket…in comparison to the winter one, do you feel that this one is a little more “flimsy”? Mine just arrived and it doesn’t seem to lie flat on me or conform to my body vs I like the fact my Malang is stiff and holds its shape well.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

  6. Love all those treats in the window, yum yum. Although this is an old post I must say, Great outfit!
