As you know, the first thing I did when I hit the city was taking the subway straight to Ladurée located on the Upper East Side. All the times that I’ve been to NYC, I never had a reason to go to the Upper East Side until now and also had no idea that one street can hold so many wonderful stores.
I wanted something comfy to wear around the city, so decided to try out my new tweed jacket No. 5 from MyUniqueen and definitely like this slimmer version a lot better compared to my winter one. From my convo with Jean at Extrapetite, she brought it to my attention that the No.5 fit on this jacket was definitely much more petite-friendly. The shoulders fit me well and the jacket is definitely slimmer all around. Only slight complaint I have are for the sleeves which are about two inches longer; I ended up tucking them under for the time being. You can find seven colors on the site, which I was having a hard time choosing between the cream, yellow or brown. Eventually, I decided on the brown since there were more contrasting colors that give the jacket its unique look.
