Pleats to Meet You, Miss Kelly Green

Up until recently, I had no idea this color green had a specific shade name thanks to my lovely friend, Jen, for introducing me to the name during one of her tweets. I always love rich colors, especially colors like this Kelly Green below and what a perfect time to post this for St. Patty’s day. Since I don’t typically celebrate the holiday, I will represent it in this outfit post instead. Totally unplanned btw, but love how things come together nicely. =)

When I got this skirt several weeks back, I had imagined wearing this with a printed blouse over top. However, at this length, the skirt seemed to drown me with my frame. Right when I was about to send it back for a refund, I decided to hike the dress up to see how it would look belted as a dress. And…I think this skirt might actually work out okay after all. =P

Forever 21 pleated green skirt (worn as dress) and belt (old)
Classiques Entier ‘Vicky’ pumps
Jewelmint necklace
Disney couture, amrita singh, fornash and H&M bracelets
Chloe sunnies

I recently got these pumps, because of its unique shape during Nordstrom’s sale recently but I’ve never heard of the brand before. Apparently it’s one of Nordstrom’s exclusive brands. After I tried them on, I was completely sold. These pumps are definitely hands down the comfiest heels I’ve tried on in awhile and that gets an A in my book for sure.

Have a great St. Patty’s day weekend everyone and thanks for reading!
