Plucked | DIY Feathered Clutch & Bold Stripes

As mentioned in my previous tutorial post on this DIY feather clutch, here’s the look to go with it. I seriously love the versatility of this clutch in the number of ways you can wear it; wearing the clutch as knuckle rings; carry it low through fingers or hanging it by the chain.

I had no idea that Piperlime sells clothing on the website, but happened to find this blouse while browsing through Shopstyle for a striped one. This blouse comes in navy and red, which I was about to get both, but decided to just get the navy one to try out first. I’m definitely loving how the stripes stand out against the colors, creating some interest to the whole outfit. I might just go back and get the red one. =P

Also can I just say how happy I am that the days are getting a little longer each day? I walked out of work yesterday little before 5:30pm and there was still daylight. Love it! Although I am looking forward to Spring next month; I am also bracing myself for the allergies to strike around that time. Well, gotta take the good with the bad right? =P Thank goodness my allergies last for only few months and I can breathe again.

While shooting, Hubby said I pulled the feathers off the geese and glued them to the clutch, so he took photos of them in remembrance – lol.
