Earlier in the summer, my sisters and my cousin all planned a trip down to New Orleans for some Creole fun. I, unfortunately, had to stay behind due to job change status and hubby’s disapproval of me going. I was pretty bummed that I couldn’t join in on the fun. But my youngest sister, L (for some reason, all my sisters’ names start with an L except me. Hmm, what gives, Mom? =P) brought me back a nice souvenir to remember good ole ‘N’Ahleans’ and I love it. She wouldn’t tell me what it was until she gave it to me in person, but she did hint saying it was “tutorial-worthy”. And now I could definitely see why. =) So without further ado, here’s the tutorial I came up with to go with my new mask (Thanks little sis!).
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
MAC’s Steamy, Freshwater, Stars/Rockets,
Nocturnelle, Shadowy Lady, and Sharp
NYX Ultra Pearl Pigment in Tourquoise and White
MAC’s pigment in Golden Lemon
Spellbound pigment in Concord Grape
UD 24/7 liner in Zero
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in black
Two sets of Falsies
MAC’s Emote (contour) and Springsheen
NYX lipstick in Paris
Sedu 1″ Clipless Iron
Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
Small hair ties
Garnier Fructisse Hair Spray
If you don’t already have a masquerade mask, it’s still pretty early to find one on ebay or a nearby halloween store. Now, if only I have a masquerade party to attend – that would top off my month of October! =) Hope you girls enjoyed this tutorial! Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, I’m not sure yet if I will be doing anything that weekend. I could squeeze in one last tutorial on Sunday afternoon to post that evening – maybe? Haven’t decided yet.
So, have you girls decided what to be for Halloween?
Until next time,
