How to Have That Lasting Curl for Asian Lashes

Ever have lashes that are just too stubborn that you can’t do much with them? My lashes have gone through regular mascaras that just make them droop down and run down my face, which is why I’ve always used waterproof mascara. They have also gone through spider-looking lashes that smudge under my lower lashlines. After trying many different drugstore mascara brands from Maybelline to Cover Girl to L’Oreal, I’ve finally settled down with my fave two; both of which were introduced to me by the lovely Fuzkittie and Janie from Pretty and Cute. Since then, no other mascara can even come close to them and they are the Shiseido Majolica Majorca mascara that I did a review last year and my recent fave from Pretty and Cute – the Lioele Carry Me mascara. Thanks to Janie, you can use the promo code “labellemel” to get the mascara free with any $20 purchase – yay. =)

Here’s a pic below of what my lashes normally look like to the left and what they look like curled with Lioele mascara to the right.

Watch the video to see how I achieve the look:

Tools used:

Shu Uemura lash curler
Shiseido mascara base (optional)
Lioele Carry Me mascara
Essence of Beauty heated lash curler (CVS)

I found the black one online, but if you can find the more updated version in pink, I’d go with that for sure. For one, the cap stayed on and has a noticeable click sound when on versus the black one. I’d probably lost the cap within a month of having it. Also the batteries that come with the packaging is too weak for the unit and you’ll notice the lash curler will heat up nicely with a fresh set of new batteries. The key to having lashes stay nice and curled throughout is definitely within the heated lash curler. I’ve noticed without it, my lashes tend to stick straight up versus a nice curl at the end for that natural look. The Shiseido mascara base is optional, but this particular one in the video has been discontinued. You can read my review on it to see if this is something that you want to add to your routine. Since it’s been discontinued, you can find a similar one that works just as well on Imomoko and that is the Shiseido Majolica Majorca mascara base, which has been out-of-stock and I’ve been patiently waiting for it to be in stock again! =P I hope this was helpful for you girls! Here’s to fun and flirty lashes. =)
