Bridal Look: Cascading Curls w/ Pink Smokey Eye Tutorial

I’ve been meaning to put this tutorial together and finally got around to it. The big holdup was getting to learn a new product, which was Babyliss 30 set hair rollers that Folica was able to send me to review. It took me three tries to finally get the result I was looking for this bridal hairstyle.

Results from the rollers.

Tips from using Babyliss rollers:

1. Making sure that the rollers have time to heat up thoroughly otherwise your curls will fall out.

2. Prepping hair with styling products such as mousse/hairspray will make curls last longer

Using these tips will ensure that you’ll have gorgeous curls that will last throughout the night. I especially love that it has 4 different sets of roller sizes vs my conair one which has three. Also comes attached with a stand for your dresser as well as clips for the hair. This is a big plus since I had to buy my clips separately for my Conair sets. I didn’t know how to use the pins at the time so the clips came in handy.

The only setback I see with this is that it takes a long time to heat up. I believe I set it on high for a good 20 mins before using on my third try. First two times I’ve used it, I prob had it heat up for less than 10 mins and the curls did not last at all. I almost gave up at that point, but decided to give it one more try, which I’m glad I did. These rollers wouldn’t be feasible for someone who want quick curls but if you have the time, I’d definitely recommend these rollers. Best of all, the rollers are ceramic and ionic, which cause less heat damage to your hair. Win-win! =)

There’s currently a sale going on that is ending tomorrow where you can get $20 off $100 purchase plus free shipping. Code is Shine20 so check Folica out to take advantage of the sale.

Anywho, enjoy the tutorial and hope this review was helpful to you! =)
