Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment Review

Lately (who am I kidding) or rather the past few months, I’ve been developing the habit of sleeping late. Not good – so not good. In order to maintain your beauty – you need to at least invest 8 hrs to sleep and I sadly do not do that. At most I would sleep 6 hrs and just the other day even less since I had to get up earlier than normal but went to sleep later than normal. =/ That’s when I know the bags under my eyes need extra attention and that’s where the Shiseido brightening cream comes into play.

Price $50

Where to Purchase: Sephora and you can get 4% cash back from Ebates!

Size: .54 oz.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Dimethicone, Denatured Alcohol, Dipropylene Glycol, Cetyl PEC/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, PEG 20, Titanium Dioxide, 3-0 Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, PEG-150, Polymehtylsisesquioxane, Sodium Chloride, Petrolatum, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbitan Sesquisostearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Alcohol, Citric Acid, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Fragrance, Cellulose Gum, Trisodium EDTA, Polysilicone-2, Mica, Silica, Limonene, Isostearic Acid, Benzyl Benzoate, Iron Oxides, Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cychlohexene Carboxaldehyde, Sodium Metabisulfite, Tamarix Chinensis Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Linalool, Lauryl Betaine, Paeonia Suffructicosa Root Extract, Fagus Sylvatica Bud Extract, Rosa Roxburghii Fruit Extract, Rehmannia Chinensis Root Extract, Hypericum Erectum Extract, Zingiber Aromaticus Extract, Tocopherol, Sodium Benzoate.

What it claims: Specially developed with Shiseido’s own Spot Deacti Complex, this lightweight cream addresses both melanin formation and poor local microcirculation, two major causes of dark circles. The Dark Circle Targeting Complex reduces melanin and diminishes the appearance of melanin pigments. By gently massaging the cream onto the skin, local microcirculation is improved while a unique mix of Asian plant extracts recover moisture balance. Additionally, it contains Multi-Luminizing Powder with light diffusing properties to instantly bring luminosity to eye areas.

What it actually does: At first when using it, I thought that my bags had lightened due to getting more sleep on the weekends, but the past month or so, I ran out of it and haven’t used anything to replace it. Now I felt my bags have become more noticeable so this stuff does works. My bags were lightened and I didn’t have to use much concealer to cover even the latest of nights.

Skin Type: all skin types

Likelihood of Repurchase: I’d definitely repurchase this if there are no other competitors out there.

  10. I just found out that Shiseido cosmetics are tested on animals! These cruel tests involve forcing painful amounts of substances down the animals throats, into their eyes, and inhaled into their lungs. There’s no way this kind of tourture is necessary for cosmetics! Please help by going to the following website to ask Shiseido to stop testing on animals:
