I remember watching Holly’s vid on Maybelline Sensational Lippy in Pink Please and I wanted to try it out. I was in luck because Walgreens was having a BOGO so I picked up two of the lippies.
Swatched on hands
“Born with It” is a gorgeous nudey pink color and “Pink Please” is just a deeper pink but applied on lips, they seem to be similar in color but very different swatched on hands. It could be that my lips have always been pigmented to start. Also, although pretty moisturizing, I felt the lippies tend to settle on the lines a bit and not really blendable. I’ve even applied my lip balm on before applying the lippies, but didn’t really helped that much. I’ve noticed that about alot of the drugstore lippies bc Revlon’s Nude Attitude did the same thing. So far, NYX round lippies are the only ones that I found blend well without settling into the lines and with a good sale on Cherry Culture – not bad for $1.50 a piece.
Since Halloween’s coming up, picked up a glossy black =D
After work yesterday, I went to Nordstrom Rack to see if I could find a dress for my friend’s wedding. No dress but I saw a great find – Perricone’s Tinted Moisturizer that Fuz raved about for $20 instead of regular retail of $50.
Woo hoo! I love it when I find great deals. Anyways, I hope everyone’s doing well. I’ve already announced the winner for the Perricone No Foundation Foundation Giveaway on my fan page so check it out if you haven’t already. Thanks to everyone who had entered and thank you to Alyssa who was able to offer such a great opportunity to my readers. =)
