Fuz’s Bday and weekend!

So apparently Fuz can’t blog about anything party-related on her page so you’ll have to read the fun over here. I know, I know. My page’s nothing as exciting as Fuz’s animated pics but it’ll have to do so bear with me =P

Anyways, I was meeting up with Fuz on friday night to celebrate her bday with Mr. H and rest of her friends. We were meeting up at W Hotel then head over together to Ultra Bar. I got there a lot later than I thought I would and was trying to find the POV terrace bar at W Hotel. I walked around and found the help desk and they pointed me over to the elevators to check in? So I went over and saw a group of ppl standing behind a roped line and went to move behind the line. Because it seemed like a cluster of ppl standing behind the rope, I didn’t think anything of it nor was I to think that I was supposed to be in a “line” until some rude lady shouted to the elevator attendant that I hopped the line. I said I was sorry and that I didn’t know there was a line and she continued on and by then I was already aggravated from parking situation earlier and shouted “I’m sorry I didn’t know!” Geezus woman! STHU! I mean sheesh, who knew you had to stay in line to get to an elevator to take you to an upstair BAR! As you can tell, I don’t go to bars much but even the girls who stood behind me were a bit confused bc the W Hotel in NYC, there would be no line to an elevator.

Anyways by the time I was in actual “line”, it’d would’ve been time for the rest of them to head down and out, so I txted them to see if they could come down earlier. So yeah that was my mini drama of the night. haha

When I was wrapping Fuz’s gift, I forgot to buy a bow at walgreens but since I had plenty of tissue paper, I decided to use what i learned from my wedding planning days and put together this bow. haha. She got a kick out of it. =P

Thought this was soo cool! haha.

I’ve been to Ultra Bar a couple of times before and thought the music was great however this time around, it pretty much sucked. I don’t know. I should take note of the dj spinning bc it was not great. We went upstairs a bit to the top floor to dance and that music was pretty good. At one point, someone dropped his/her glass on the ground and it shattered everywhere right near my legs. My poor legs got cut up a bit and was bleeding but I still kept on dancing! haha, What? The music was good! =P

My little injury for the night!

Then Saturday night, I had dinner with my friend Linda and the rest of her group and headed over to Park nightclub in DC to hang out afterwards. It was my first time at Park and I have to say the music was much better in beginning – went techno in middle then hip hop later. Oh well, at least it played my current fave jam to dance to for clubs – Knock you down! haha. Whenever I hear a good dance song that I absolutely love, it usually indicates a good time to head to the club and dance to it and the night wouldn’t be complete until I hear it come on. =D The last time was Just Dance and Pokerface – haha.

Interestingly enough, we were dancing right near the tables and a friend pointed out later that Mario was at one of the tables. The club was pretty loud that I thought he said Omarion? and I had no idea who he was. haha. So unfortunatley I missed out on a photo op below. =P At least my friends got in on the fun. =D

Overall a great weekend. The next day I made some dumplings from Pink and they were soooo delicious. You have to try her recipe if you haven’t already.

Hope you all had a great weekend. =)

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
