L’EGERE White Multi BB Cream Review

Honestly, I hate wearing liquid foundations in the morning (or anytime for that matter), bc my regimen usually consists of me waking up, shocked that my alarm didn’t go off, frantically running around to get ready. So you can imagine that makeup would be the last thing on my mind. I usually just leave liquid foundation for special occasions.

Of course, I don’t want to look dead in the morning for work either, so I will apply powder foundation, blush and chapstick and I’m off! Until now. I’m glad I was introduced to BB cream (better late than never =))bc really this thing is just like another “moisturizer” to put on. You don’t need a brush with it and can just be applied like cream which instantly smooths out your skintone, leaving behind a soft dewey look. Quick and easy! I do set it with my powder foundation just to finish it off but I’m sure you can do without.

Now onto my review:

Price: $27.99 ( I took advantage of the 10% off promotion last week)
Where to purchase: iMomoko

Size: 1.69 fl oz.
Ingredients: Arbutin, Cyclomethicone, Jojoba oil, Polyglyceyl-4 Isostearate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Bees wax, Tocopheryl acetate, Propylparaben, Sorbitan sesquioleate, Petrolatum, Titanium Dioxide/Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)/Dimethicone, Glycerine, Butylene glycol, Magnesium sulfate, Methylparaben, Sodium Hyaluronate, Marine Collagen, Rose water, Centella asiaticacosides, water, fragrance
Consistency: thick, creamy-texture
Smell: just read the ingredient and it has rose water in it – no wonder it smells soooo nice!!! hehee.. I love love the scent. If you are not into fragrance, the scent is very light and goes away almost instantly so never fret. =)
What it claims: White Multi BB Cream acts effectively on irritated skin, concealing dermal blemish and helps skin rejuvenation (aka miracle worker!) with innovative active ingredients. Blocking the penetration of UV rays and other harmful factors. This silicon-based formula defines a natural, long-lasting complexion, with gentle calming effects of natural, plant-derived soothing particles not only on oily and sensitive skin, but also on irritated skin following peel care.

What it actually does: Ok, not that I know what it feels to have a peel care, but honestly what this cream does is that it gives my face such a dewey-look and evens out my skintone. I hardly need to use a concealer on my acne spots and the cream is always buildable to add more coverage. The fact that it has many more ingredients that help your face rejuvenate is a HUGE plus in my book as well as protect my skin from the sun. What more could I ask for? You can definitely apply this without a brush (another huge plus) and it just feels so light on, not cakey at all. Summer is coming soon so I’ll see how it does in controlling oils. I usually don’t have that problem during winter time. This would be the true test then. =)
Skin Type: combination, oily and sensitive skin. I am an NC25 in liquid foundation and NC30 in powder foundation so this was just right for me. Anything above will be too light I think. Hopefully I won’t get any tan this summer so I can continue using this product! =)

Put it to the test!

Dime size on hand (keep in mind that my hand is a tad tanner than my face usually)

Blended completely.
Left half is BB cream; Right half is moisturized bare skin.
I just LOVE what it does to my skin!
Instant smoothness. I also applied a little under my eyes too to cover those dark circles =/ It does not crease or anything, just smooth surface! Plus plus plus!!!
Now that I have foundation on, I have to remember not to touch my face so often. =P
Likelihood of Repurchase: I will definitely repurchase this hands down! It will be awhile though bc you only need a dime-size amount to cover your whole face and this tube is a decent size so even more economical!

  1. You are right! This is great stuff, perfect for irritated, dry and sensitive skin!

Arbutin, an effective whitening agent, is the first active ingredient, so that tells you something!

    It looks great on you!

  2. blogging at work eh? 😉 nice review! I love the BB cream, it’s so convenient for travel too. Just a question, do you put foundation on your eyelids too? haha… when I do that to even out my eyelid, I find that my eyeshadows don’t last as long, even with a primer. How do you deal with that?

Have a great day mel! it’s beautiful outside eh?

  3. @Jamilla Camel hehe..thx girl! ooh look at u knowing the ingredients.. hehe.

@Katie haha.. i do blog at work.. =P I’m too lazy when I get home.. I don’t specifically put it on my eyelids but when I’m spreading it on my cheeks and such, I’ll go over my eyelids to even out the color. I haven’t tried it out with primer yet since I dont wear e/s to work. I’ll need to try it out some more this weekend and see for myself. =P

  14. Ah, I lovelovelove BB Cream! I use Hanskin’s Super Magic BB Cream and it’s so much better than foundation for a light/no makeup day. I adore the stuff so much, and this one’s the perfect colour for my slightly-paler-than-NC15 complexion, so I’d recommend it to all the fairer-skinned ladies out there.

So glad to see a review on this, too – BB Cream needs more love! <3

  28. Ooh the BB cream looks great! What shade are you in MAC? I’m in the NC42 range, so the BB cream that I have is too light for me. I have to mix it with my foundation!

  29. hey girl.. i’m an nc25 in mac liquid foundation and nc30 in powder foundation. yeah any higher it might be too light on darker skintone, however, another beauty blogger had mentioned to use ur shade of powder to finish off the look which works like a charm. hth! =)

  30. Too true! I only usse liquid foundation if I’ve got a hot date. Otherwise, between grabbing my keys and finding my other shoe, I barely have time to puff some mineral powder on. Thanks for this awesome review with lots of info on BB creams which I think are going ot be my new love!
