Sonia Kashuk Makeup Remover

I truly love her brushes and have just about a handful of them. So naturally, I ventured into her other lines to see what else I could try out. Honestly for the quality ingredients at reasonable price, there’s not much to complain about her products! I mean bottom-line – her stuff works period.

Take the makeup remover for example. From the reviews, this rivaled against longtime standing best remover out there like Lancome as well as Clinique’s without the price tag attached.

Price: $9.99
Where to purchase: Target which you can also get 4% cash back from Ebates!
Size: 4 fl. oz.

Purified water, Cyclomethicone, Isohexadecane, Hexylene Glycol, Poloxamer 184, Sodium Chloride, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Dehydroacetate, D&C Violet EXT #2.
It’s got the strangest consistency as you see in the pic. Purple blue-ish color on the bottom with clear liquid on the top. You’ll need to shake it in order to activate the remover ingredients in there.

It has a light smell to it and not overly strong – almost tangy-like.
What it claims:
It’s gentle enough to remove makeup including waterproof mascara. No stinging and ideal for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers.

What it actually does:
It exactly does what it says without any stinging or greasiness and best yet, waterproof mascara is easily removed! This is going to be my newest HG without breaking the bank!! I raved about Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover towelettes but with only 25 towelettes in them, I find myself having to replace it often and doesn’t quite take off the waterproof mascara. This bottle will go a looooong way and works so effectively. All you need is to just shake it to mix the two sections together and add it to a cotton pad. I like the pads better bc it doesn’t come apart or leave any fuzzies behind. Then I just place it at the bottom of my top lashes and use wiggle motion up and do the same from top of my upper lashes down. This does the trick in removing waterproof mascara and I was stunned to see that it’s gone after a few *wiggles* (hehe) so I’m a happy camper. Finally a product that works!
Skin Type: Any skin type
Likelihood of Repurchase: Hands down YES! This is truly going to be my HG!
Rating: (5) out of 5 cosmos

Disclaimer: I am not advertising for any company and am truly using the products to test them out and see if they work. These are my personal opinions and always encourage others to do their research before getting a product bc everyone’s skintype is different.
